Maria Fung is an established visual content creation and design communication expert with over 17 years of professional working experience.
She briefly worked in London at some of the UK’s established creative agencies such as Stylorouge, where she was involved with its team to design for musician David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, and at Deep where she designed for AEG Europe. While in London, Maria was involved in projects with other direct clients and even came in second place at the internationally famous digital design tournament, Cut&Paste, London 2009.
Currently based in Singapore, Maria has helped many small and big businesses across diverse sectors to achieve their desired brand outlook and boost their engagement with their audience through engaging visuals and write-ups. She adopts a comprehensive approach to visual communication beyond its aesthetics, taking into account the various touchpoints of marketing, branding, customer relationship and user experience that make up an effective campaign.
Prior to running her own business full-time, Maria worked at one of the largest advertising agencies in the world, BBDO and at e-commerce giant, Zalora where she gained exposure to digital marketing. Her wealth of past and present work experience has brought her overseas to work with clients from China, Italy, Japan and Palau, and even work with teams across borders that include Australia, Indonesia, Philippines, India, Thailand and Hong Kong, adding to her international working versatility.
Linkedin, Golden Village, SimCorp, Wolters Kluwer, CapitaLand, Simmons, Noah Holdings, Reckitt Benckiser, Clarion Events, and Australian Fruit Juice are some of the clients who have partnered with her.
Her specialist skills include creative direction, visual branding, graphic design, illustration, and corporate and lifestyle content writing. She also collaborates with other established professionals in their respective fields to achieve desired outcomes with maximum impact for effective campaigns.
When not at the computer, Maria loves to devote her time to D.I.Y pursuits, art jamming and teaching art, travelling, cooking, sports, charity and spending time with her son and friends.
