Creative Direction for Vida De Latinos
Vida De Latinos (VDL) was the flagship brand of Maduro Media Group (MMG) and South-East Asia’s first online lifestyle magazine bridging Latin America and Asia. The online magazine featured a vibrant mix of content including music, art, lifestyle, dance, food, travel, and more—heavily promoted through social media channels. I oversaw the development and execution of VDL’s design, branding strategy, online marketing, editorial direction, and overall content strategy.
Below is the double-sided name card design for MMG, where I designed both MMG and VDL logos. Designed to resemble a crown to symbolise its position as the umbrella brand for VDL and other ventures, MMG's two ‘M’s (for Maduro Media - object and shadow) were merged to form its crown icon. For VDL, the logo's initials (VDL) used fluid fonts to symbolise Latin America's flexible diversity in its cultural, social and artistic norms, while the rest of the letters used rounded sans-serif fonts that complemented well with the typography of the initials, maintaining readability and effective blending to various collateral.

Website Design
VDL was experiencing considerable success in engagement and growth through its Facebook platform when it first launch as a page in 2013. Once the website was launched, the transition of pulling in viewers on a monthly basis became a smoother task.
